世间上的人都说地府阴间只有十八层地狱，这是错误的。
其实准确的应称为：人八重地狱
八重大地狱各设十六个小地狱，加上第一殿的血污池、枉死城等，大大小小地狱共有138处。

后来遇到次贷危机，很多鬼缴不起月供，银行收楼，而房价暴跌到原来的30％，银行收回来的资产还不及原贷款额，很多银行倒闭。所以地府把最下两层的血池地狱和滚油地狱改成“天体”沙滩和桑拿吸引游客。
