smart audio version :2.24
help help me...
windows vista can got driver from website ...
windows xp no hv....

I'm not sure it's work or not,but some guy get success before.

maybe you can follow the three step



firstly, download your laptop Vista drivers from here.

then,   Make sure you have microsoft HD AUDIO Patch KB888111 on your XP system.

finally,  uncompress sp37789.exe (get from step 1)  with WinRAR.   and manual install your audio drivers from device manager(control panel).

right, find HD Audio Device( with yellow Question mark)  from " device manager"  

and click update drivers,  then, choice Install drivers from list or location,

finger your sp37789\Hermosa\V32 folder   (uncompress sp37789.exe)

and next next,

ok, my  suggest is.........give up.

there is no any Win XP drivers for your CX20561 audio device.

maybe, just maybe you can contact your suppliers for tech-support.

I had check your audio device model,,,, CX20561,  just one laptop use this audio codec, that's Compaq Presario F700 Series.

so, if HP/Compaq doesn't give any xp drivers, you never can found any xp drivers else.

try creative  external  sound card or switch to Vista. you choice.

no any XP drivers!

in my opinion, Vista NOT bad idea.

Just tell your customer, you had contact compaq tech-support, they SAY:"this computer for vista only."

I know it different story,but same solution.

just try other model drivers, I believe sound card in C738TU same as other  model  .

V6000T have  Conexant High Definition Audio Drivers for XP system. maybe , you can try it
